The Design And Implementation Of Stock Management System Based On O3W

The generally maturing distributed multilayer architecture technology these days reducing web server's load, thus has become the prevail pattern of industry application today. Middleware is the key part of distributed application, and developers can concentrate on business logic than annoying technology. O3W(Object 3Tier Infoworks) is a industry standard distributed multilayer architecture middleware developed by NRI(Nomura Research Institute). In this paper, under the instruction of distributed multilayer architecture technology, the stock management system has been designed and realized successfully based on MVC design pattern by adopting O3W.In the paper, distributed multilayer architecture technology and middleware technology are introduced first. Object 3Tier Infoworks platform is also analyzed and researched deeply, thus the architecture and the advantage of the platform is presented. In the following, the overall design of the stock management system based on 03W is analyzed from technical way, including system requirements, design principles, business flow and system function, and B/S pattern multilayer architecture is affirmed.This paper also introduces the detail design of the system in MVC point of view consist of view layer, business logic layer and control layer. The system archive management mechanism is also clarified. Then the key performance and security assuring mechanism implemented in the system including data cache, DSB optimizing, load-balance, transaction security and database security are discussed. Finally the research work is summarized.The stock management system introduced in the paper based on the techniques and services supported by O3W is realized with reusabity, high security, high performance and easy to extend. It is a successful attempt of distributed multilayer architecture technology application and meanwhile provides practical guidance and reference on how to realize an effective management system based on system's characteristics. But future research is still needed to combine this stock management system and client relation management system etc.
