The Research And Realization Of Uyghur Office Suite Based On OpenOffice.org

OpenOffice. org has become one of the most important choice besides Microsoft Office suite, because of its outstanding characters like high stability, platform-independence, opensource, inexpensive, well-Portability. As far as information security is concerned, government advocates opensource office suite. To develop the multi-language openoffice suit which has the independent intellectual property is demand of Xinjiang's information construction. This paper includes the summary of researching on Uyghur, Kazakh, Kirghiz Openoffice suit. The mainly solved issues are as bellows:1) Studying on the OpenOffice.org technical structure, the runtime mechanism, the code standard, the input output technology and the multi-language processing mechanism, has found the method to Uyghur information processing.2) Making the Uyghur fonts which were constant with Unicode standard, and established the Uygur input method and realized the auto-shaping of Uygur Kazak, Kirghiz, letters.3) Studying on the OpenOffice.org internationalization, localization mechanism, through established Uygur localized data Locale, has realized localization of the OpenOffice.org.4) Studying on the multi-language of user interface of OpenOffice.org, and the realization of localization of user interface of OpenOffice.org.5) Modified syllable breakingline algorithm and the kashida justification algorithm in OpenOffice.org.6) Has realized Uygur, the Chinese, English mix composing.7) Made more than 10 set of Official document, realized seamless linked up with the Founder transmission system.Multi-language Office suite has applied in Xinjiang government document transimition system and reached same level of other office suite.The project has Innovative point on the localization of OpenOffice.org, and multi-language mix processing technology, and syllable breaking.line and kashida justification.
