Research On RRM Algorithems Of Distributed Wireless Communication System Based On WCDMA

In 2G mobile system, voice data service is dominant. But in 3G, it's a trendto support multi-media and multi-rate services. WCDMA system, as one of themain stream systems of 3G, of course should give support to multi-mediaservice. The Distributed Wireless Communication System that bases onWCDMA is a brand-new wireless connection network. It can incarnate theadvantages of WCDMA better. It adopts a series of new technologies such asdistributed antenna, distributed disposal and distributed control etc. It has thecharacteristics of high capacity, low power and strong compatibility. So it is avery excellent new wireless communication technology with a super future.Since CDMA is an interference limited system, appropriate radio resourcemanagement algorithms could restrain interference to improve the systemcapacity.Firstly, I introduced the history of development of the three generationscommunications. Then I introduced the development and characteristics ofWCDMA which is the main mobile communication system of 3G in details.Secondly, I described the concepts, characteristics, networks and theparticular dominances of the distributed wireless communication system that weused. The simulation environment was also described.Thirdly, the algorithms of Call Admission Control and Code Assignmentwere described separately in two chapters, including its principles, design targets.detailed algorithm explanations and related flow figures.Then I programmed the algorithms above and compared call admissioncontrol algorithms and code assignment algorithms separately through thefigures of the simulation. The best algorithms were found after analyzing datafrom the curves of the figures. And the last part of the paper is the prospect of the new technologies andthe summarization of the whole work.
