Research And Design Of Manufacturing Information Management System For Tire Based On Bar Code

Our tire enterprises use tire management system based on tire-code widely, and they collect information by the traditional method of hand-copying. For it is hard to provide accurate data source, the after-sale management of tire has difficulties.Currently, the automatic recognition method of tire-code were not mature enough for practical application, and the bar code widely used in product information management system comes off easily when pasted on tire. The article puts forward a detailed scheme with a combination of tire-code and bar code: Print the tire-code brand and its matching bar code before tire production, and establish their identity counterparts in database; Collect product information by barcode; Either bar code or tire-code can be used for tire information inquiry. Accordingly, a bar code management system of tire information is designed corresponding to the actual needs of the tire company. The system is developed by object-oriented method, and modeled by UML. According to E-R model analysis, the background database is established. Then, the system is programmed in Delphi with the interface and database connectivity separate. It uses ADO database access technology, and both application level and database level access control to ensure security of data operation. Moreover, it uses stored procedure of SQL Server, and the index or view technology in database to optimize the entire database application system performance.This system has been used by an enterprise, and initially attained the desired goals.
