| DTV (digital TV) is in a period of rapid development in the world. There are about 4 billions of analog TV sets in China, therefore it is a good choice to use existing analog TV sets equipped with STB (Set Top Box) during the transition.As digital set top boxes are used widely in the ordinary lives of people, the requirements of high performance of embedded user interface is demanded increasingly. On the other hand., one of the characteristics of DTV is EPG (Electronic Program Guide), which provides easily and friendly user interface and fast browsing program function. Adapt to the above application and problems, this paper mainly study and design the system of the embedded DVB-C digital STB. In addition, it give the design of sofeware of GUI (graphic user interface) and the EPG(Electronic Program Guide).This paper follows the MPEG-2 and DVB-C international standard,made a general analyse to the key technique of set top box,and bring the plan of the hardware and software structure of the STB system,and prove the feasibility and advantage of this blue print through practice.The main contribution of this paper is :1)This paper analyses and summarize the structure of the STB, give the design of the whole system of the embedded DVB-C digital STB, empolder the system of hardware based on the chip of Hi2011, and bring forward the delamination module of the software.Finally,we give the online debug flat roof and debug method.2)In the design of graphics user interface , The OSD graphics storeroom is increased between the user application and rock-bottom the hardware of OSD based on the OSD module of Hi2011and the idea of delamination is designed.The OSD graphic storeroom offers the self-contained graph and the character displaying API function. Finally,the realization of part software of the UI is given.3)EPG software based on DVB-SI is designed and developed. Firstly DVB-PSI/SI is introduced. Secondly, EPG software is designed based on modular ideology. It involves datasearching module, processing of application module and OSD (On Screen Display) module. According to specified application, rectangle and region algorithm combined with image representation is utilized to avoid flicker of displaying pages, further more, stack allocator is chosen to improve the efficiency of memory allocation. Finally, EPG software is implemented on Hi2011 silicon platform by the above design. |
