The accurate online measurement of steam wetness has significant practicality in power system. In this paper, the high precision microwave steam wetness measurement theory and corresponding measuring systems have been studied. Firstly, double resonator measuring system is designed base on the analysis of steam wetness measurement principle and the study of operational principle of single resonator measuring system. Then, the effect which is mainly caused by heat expansion is analyzed, and the heat compensation of both systems is studied. Again, holistic performance of both systems by simulation and experiment measurement is analyzed, also the key elements of wetness measuring systems is analyzed and optimized, and the behavioral level analysis of the system has achieved. Finally, the data of both systems has got and analyzed based on contrast experiment under the same standard. Results show that the precision of compensation method studied in this thesis is three times more than other methods, and the error is less than 1%. The differential system designed in this paper can compensate the heat expansion and suits to measure wetness with flowing wet steam.
