Information overload and information disorientation are obstructionswhich restrain people from using internet information efficiently.Information overload means that it is difficult for people to absorb andunderstand information when facing so much data. Informationdisorientation refers to the state that people puzzle how to express andsearch information that they need. Personalized recommendation systemcan recommend information automatically according to users' interest. It solves the knottiness that people trouble to find information, andhas widely applied in the electronic commerceA large number of recommendation filtering methods have been developed. Each recommender system typically embeds some specific algorithm tocompute correlations (the similarity of two relevant objects). So, theserecommender systems are used to been applied in special situations andit has been shown that no one technique is best for all users in allsituations. Given these observations, with the growing number ofrecommendation methods and in face of evolving users' interests, webelieve the best way forward in this area is to allow multiplerecommendation methods to co-exist. To combat this, the paper developeda Mobile-Agent-Based Distributed Personalized Recommendation System(MABDPRS) that allows multiple recommendation methods to compete withone another to present their best recommendations to the user. This system can make up the shortage of single recommendation method and Satisfyvarious recommendation needs. And, the system is open and Distributionand New recommender method can be added easily in face of Complicatedand volatile application environment. The paper developed a framework of the Mobile-Agent-BasedDistributed Personalized Recommendation System (MABDPRS) and analysisoperation mechanism. Following, we discuss several key technicalproblems about the system. The author develops a system prototypal atAglet platform, and demonstrated that the system achieved expectationaim and it is right in the paper's thought. At last, the paper providesa summary of the work and something expected.
