The union of the computer technology, the information technology, the network technology and the project management enables the project management method application to obtain the popularization, and causes the project management method into to be possible in the ultra-big project application. That, which is the high speed development of Chinese architecture industry, the popularization of local area network (LAN) and the present situation of information backwardness in Chinese architecture industry, causes construction project information management based on the LAN into inevitability. The construction project management information already has become the tendency and direction to project management development of construction enterprise in our country; It is the very strong practical significance that the study of construction project information management based on the LAN.This paper, in view of the construction profession construction project management characteristic and the newest progress situation of application to the information technology in the construction project, with the service condition to project information management based on the LAN in N.G.A. project by CMIIC, taking the project construction management as the center, taking the database technology in information technology as the method, has carried on the demand analysis, the system analysis, the database constitution and case analysis to project information management based on the LAN .This paper, firstly, in view of the construction project management meaning, the basic principle and characteristic, the information technology to the construction project influence, and the construction project management to database aspect need and so on ,has been analyzed the construction project information management demand, and explained the inevitability carrying on the information management to the construction project; by the construction LAN of construction project, the management work flow of construction project and the function structure modular of construction project information management, it has been carried on the analysis with construction project information management system based on the LAN. Next, by the introduction of the principle and design principle of database, with the five aspects of the construction project synthesis management, the technology management, the HSE management, the supplies management, and the documents management, it constitutes the construction project management database. Finally, by the introduction to the project survey, the Institutional framework of project and the LAN establishment in N.G.A. project, it has been throughout analyzed utilization and practice situation of construction management database in this construction project management.This paper proposed an entire plan of construction project information management based on the LAN, then it has the universal significance and the certain reference value to the application of construction project information management based on the LAN.
