In the development of the agriculture,vegetable production is provided with a particular dominance and degree.Along with the continuously development of vegetable production, vegetable decision-making becoming more and more difficult. The exent of the information share has been comparatively drop behind.So in order to provide decision-making service for the vegetable production, it is significant to empolder a web digital information platform which is in high information share.Under the guidance of software engineering ideas, used a set of modern information technologies, such as WebGIS, JSP,database etc.integrately,take shouguang as an example,constructed a digital information platform based on WebGIS for Vegetable Production. An intensive study of key technologies and methods for system developing was taked,and this is a successful combination of modern information techniques with vegetables production management.This platform was empoldered and customized individually based on the ArcIMS9.0,and through the spatial database engine ArcSDE,the spatial data was stored and managed in the Relational Database SQLServer2000 distributly.The clients adopted the normal Hypertext Markup Language mode,choosed ArcXML,HTML and JSP language to empolder the system, dynamic display of the map,the alternation between the clients and the severs were realized.In the processing of date organization, making use of the Kriging analysis method of ArcGIS Geostatistical Analyst model, studied the soil nutrition variability.And using the component analysis method, Kriging analysis method, adopting Spacial Analyst,SPSS tools,appraised the integrative soil fertility in Grain Crop Region exploringly.When visiting the platform,the users could get a lot of service, such as map browse,information query,distance measure,map print, Statistic analyst.The modules of this platform including subject map,production making,quality control, Statistic analyst and users management,could realize effectively management,distribution,share and pass of the large number of the spatial date,attributedate,production technology and criterion that related with the vegetable production management.The users'request could be satisfied furthest,for example,simple,convenient and intuitionistic in statistic analyst, maintenance of effective of information , expansibility,and low cost in application.
