The Application Of WebGIS In Roadlamp Information System

With the development of Geographic Information Interoperability and Web services, the application of WebGIS becomes more and more popular. Nowadays, in order to create and setup clearly structured and steadily running WebGIS, there are not proper tools and pattern for developers to use for reference. Hence, the emphasis of this thesis is to construct a WebGIS roadlamp information system for basic development and operation, so the task can be simplify and functions extensible.Firstly, the thesis introduces the method of technology of system development: the thesis makes a comparison on all kinds of WebGIS technology, customer solution and data storage solution, and makes a description on all the technology solution. After that dissertation, the paper studies the architecture and technologies of ArcIMS, which include thorough research ArcXML and .NET Link; and improves the process of ArcIMS developing in the environment of .NET with Web technologies, which focus on parsing and capsulating the core of ArcXML. Finally, on the platform of ArcIMS and the environment of Microsoft .NET, a solving project is put forward, and is applied to City Roadlamp information system.This roadlamp system is working well, which proves that the solution is feasible both in theory. This research can also shed some light on other system which bases on WebGIS.
