In recent years, computer supported collaborative design technology (CSCD) has been rapidly developed. In the field of intelligent fashion CAD, it is urgent to combine CSCD and Fashion style CAD to put forward a computer supported collaborative design system of Fashion style CAD. This system can fully apply the knowledge of different fashion fields and the experience of different experts to make the design work collaboratively and efficiently. This project aims at providing a uniform resource and information sharable platform solution that is integrated with design, processing and service, and it will provide information service and intelligent style design based on Web.By researching on the intelligent fashion style CAD system and its related knowledge and realization methods, the paper has systematically analyzed the characteristics and working model of collaboration design, as well as the key technologies of collaboration design such as collaboration control mechanism, synchronization mechanism, safety control technology and mechanism of application sharing. And then associated with the technique of web services, a new design thought of collaboration design based on web services was put forward. The new thought is discussed and verified as follows: based on the existing system of intelligent fashion style, the new system was developed by the holistic structure design and the realization of some blocks which associated with the collaboration design and the technique of web services.Through comparing the character of C/S and C/S model, three-tier architecture which is client-server-database was adopted based on combined model of C/S and B/S. The System was realized on the Microsoft.NET platform. Oracle was used as database server, Microsoft IIS 5.0 as web server. AD0.NET is used to access Oracle database, And ASP.NET is used to realize Web interaction between users. All function blocks of system were illustrated in the paper. Role-based permission management seeps in every function blocks in the system. After users, roles and permissions were analyzed in details in the paper, users' permission management block was designed. Furthermore, the design of some collaboration function blocks was demonstrated.Finally, some further discussion and research on the collaboration design was made in this paper. There are some problems about conflict how to detect and eliminate conflict. Conflict is the nature phenomena of the collaboration design process. The paper has systematically analyzed the reasons why the conflict occurs and the characteristics of conflict. Accord with 3 basic principles to eliminate the conflict, the pivotal conflict problems was controlled and resolved by using the technique of constraint-relaxation strategy and backtracking in fashion style CAD collaboration work. This is a useful searching about the stability and consistency of collaboration design system.In this paper, fashion style CAD collaboration design system was researched with its working mode, holistic structure and supported technologies. Up to now, fashion style CAD collaboration design system has not been realized in China, and collaboration design of other fields was also during the period of beginning. Under the specific project background, this paper brought forward a series of useful methods,which will provide both theoretical and practical value to the fashion CAD design field or other fields.
