UML is a universal, unified, graphic model language. The semantic description is based on precisely Meta model definition . All elements are easily, consistently, universally described with Metal model and developers are accord with semanteme to reduce the affection caused by the usual expression way .Until now there is no unified and self-contained way to develop Inventory Manage Information System(IMIS), because it is a complicated System Engineering that is related with computer process technology, system method, organization structure, manage function, manage knowledge etc fields but every developmental method follows certain strategy. Any strategy focuses on these questions above all:questions to solve, system feasibility research, principles, preparation, how to choose developmental way and making developmental plans.It is difficult that descript precisely the system's objects during the developing procedure. Most difficult part is writing and documenting precisely technological requirement that includes all interfaces obiect to user, object to machine and others software system. If it is done wrongly, it affects the success of the whole system. So it is difficult to modify.This paper introduces the UML modeling object-oriented technology, combined library management information systems, focused on the application of UML and the UML-based object-oriented system analysis and design.
