With the rapid development of global manufacture and economics, competition in the enterprises has changed into in supply chain gradually. Agile supply chain is a network that composes of suppliers, manufactures, distributors, retailers and customers. Agile supply chain is a focus of operation management. At present, researches about supply chain are mainly based on reduction methodology. There is a lack of whole behavior about supply chain, so it is important to research the whole behavior of supply chain based on system theory. Therefore, according to the actual enterprises' situation in our country, simulation modeling methods for supply chain become an important topic in the research field.Supply chain is a typical complex adaptive system. The CAS(Complex Adaptive System) theory and method provides a new way for supply chain research. Guided by CAS theory, this thesis discusses the modeling and optimization problems of supply chain. Firstly, this thesis introduces related theories and applications about agile supply chain, points out essential distinguishes between agile supply chains and traditional supply chains, puts forward management and control mode of agile supply chain. Then it concretely analyses the adaptive characters of supply chain and its research method, called agent-based modeling & simulation methodology. We extend Agent communication language KQML(Knowledge Query and Manipulation Language) to satisfy our needs. Subsequently, this paper chooses pump enterprise as the application case of this model, devises simulation model of supply chain, and emphasizes the simulation module of coordination Agent,manufacture Agent,supplier Agent and distributor Agent; at last, arithmetic of communication and coordination are designed in detail in order to control reactivity between Agents in coordination environment and realize communication and coordination based on multi-agent.
