The signal-phase-matching principle is a new technique in the area of processing of underwater acoustic array signal. The signal-phase-matching principle of three sensors and multi sensors are derived in this dissertation. The formulae of estimated signal from noise and coherent interference and the factors effecting performances of the principle are given. Simulation and validation of the principle are still presented.Firstly, the signal-phase-matching principle of three sensors and multi sensors are derived. The formulae of estimated signal from noise are proposed. The geometric interpretation of these principles are given in order to make the physical meaning of these principles obvious. Then the performances of estimated signal are analyzed when the phase of expected signal and the amplitude of noise are fluctuant. The simulationgs valididate these principles. The applications of the signal-phase-matching principles in the coherent interference suppression is presented. The formulae of estimated signal from coherent interference are derived and the computer simulation of these principles are given. The results of simulation show that the coherent interference can be suppressed as long as the azimuths of the expected signal and coherent interference are not the same. The performances of coherent interference suppression are analyzed in some factors such as fluctuant amplitude of coherent interference. Then the principles of coherent interference suppression by using the signal-phase-matching principle of multi sensors are derived briefly and the computer simulations are given the same time. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of signal-phase-matching principle are summarized.
