The paper,based on the classical MUSIC algorithm,discusses the feasibility of improving the estimation of widebandsignal's derection-of-arrival(DOA),including the use of vector sensor array,the array setting of non-uniform linear array and the improved algorithm of estimating wideband signal's DOA.Firstly the paper simulate the MUSIC algorithm based on narrowband signal and analysis the performances,to expand it to estimate widebandsignal's DOA.Several arraywith no blur conditions non-uniform linear array and methods of decoherence signal broadband focus are discussed.Then the performances of narrowband signal based on non-uniform linear arraysimulationare discussed.Simulating the DOA based on vector sensor and scalar sensor and comparing the performances.Formulas of focusing matrix based on vector sensor and scalar sensor are derived,and the performance of the Rotation-Signal-Subspace Arithmetic(RSS)algorithm based on vector sensorarray is analysis.Introducing and simulating the Improved RSS Arithmetic,and comparing the performances with the traditional RSS to verify the improved RSS has the better performances.At last,the experimental data has been processed.
