Design And Implement Of 2D Online Game Engine Based On Resource Management

The fast development of the fourth media, namely Internet, has made the digital interactive entertainment extend to new domain. Networked game which has gained more attention in recent years is a fast developing industry. In our country, the large and emerging game market is thus driving researchers and practitioners to develop innovative software techniques that allow game players to enjoy exciting and interactive game experiences.A game production is composed of game resource and game engine. The game resource includes picture, sound, animated cartoon and so on. The other is a platform technique in game design. Through researching on the management of game resource, graphic processing and network communication, the author of this paper designs and realizes the game engine based on resource management, including resource management system, graphic processing system, network communication system and automatic update system. In this game engine, resource management is mode of framework that manages all kinds of resources uniformly and provides unified interface, and it is a very important framework that determine some frames of the game engine. This engine can make use of the game resource orderly in running time. With the engine, game developers don't need to devote lots of energies to handing game architecture, processing graphic etc. They can directly make use of the engine to shorten the period of game development. This paper discusses the basic technical architecture of the 2D network game engine, which will be of reference value for the domestic development of 2D-based network game system.
