The railway transportation holds the important status in the national economy. With the development of the rail transportation, the transportation quantity grows increasingly faster, the speed is more quickly, and the technology is more advanced. The railway marshalling yard is the basic and most important production unit. Its primary mission is to disassemble and organize trains(reorganization work) when the freight trains enter the station. So it affects the entire railway network the traffic capacity, and switching service in marshalling yard affects the quality of the workstation, technical efficiency and operational safety. Marshalling Yard improve the organization and improve its technical level is of great significance.This article studies the Station Management System ,has used the MicroSoft.NET three-tier structural designs. As a foundation movement platform, it Provide the basic operating environment for Supporting a variety of application software development and operation in Railway system. It can also hide the detail of realizing of the bottom networks, communications, remote access and so on . So it Provides convenient conditions for code reuse and sharing of information.This article completes the system requirements analysis, the function design and database design with using the software engineering thinking. And the same time, according to the separation between the data and the operation, the paper compartmentalize the system level and establish a C/S three-tier architecture. In this paper, and an analysis of the system has been formed in the framework, and to the expansion. The framework provides a variety of application software development and the basic operating environment. Above this, the paper accomplishes the presentation layer and the middle layer of the system design and implementation.Based on the actual situation of Neijiang station and the data structure of Ministry of Railways' now car system 2.0, the paper designs switching service subsystem which is the core of subsystem using Oracle 9i and .NET technique, completes receiving and sending the confirm report, and achieves a switching operating plan function with the use of graphics technology. Finally, the paper raises the advantage and the shortcomings of the system, points out the next phase of the work.
