Hu Shi is one of the most important disseminator in the developing history of Chinese news. He considered showing the thoughts of the poor as his natural duty. So he promoted literature revolution, and reformed prose style.But Mr. Hu's attitude towards cross-cultural communication --- all should be westernizated--- was criticized violently. In fact, it was a mis-consideration to Hu's idea. Later, Hu corrected his misuse of his words by using another one. That is full universality. But no matter which word he used, it just showed Hu's attitude towards European culture. That is to try our best to absorb the highlight of European culture.Hu Shi also emphasized that newspapers should be in charge of their statement. He thought if one wanted to create a newspaper, he must be responsible for his expression of (political) opinion. He said that publications should show proper quick news and fair upstanding commentary. And he object to abstract idle. He insisted that as interviewers, we should own strong national responsibility.Mr. Hu also insisted that interviewers should be independent. That was not to depend on any political parties. Interviewers should show their different opinions. In order to keep independent, he refused to engage in any political activities.There were three marked features in Hu Shi's ideas towards disseminating.
