It can meet the test requirements of satellite ,land ,mobile communication system .It can also be used in frequence agile radio , radar, radio confront and phase noise measurement applications.This paper detailedly analyzes the design and principle of an Agile Signal Generator (including hardware and software).It also discusses the key technology of it, including the design technology of delay, line discriminator and frequency lock loop ,the technology of single loop ,high resolution frequency synthesis, the control technology of frequency fast hop ,the technology of high rate ,high deviation FM , the control technology of amplitude shaping of agile outputs, and the numerical synthesis technology of modulation source etc.
