In this thesis, parallel FDTD method and a wideband microstrip antenna arrays which operating on Ku-band (11.7GHz~12.7GHz) are studied.Firstly, the basic theory of FDTD and parallel programming, especially the three-dimensional parallel algorithm of FDTD which connected with MPI (Message Passing Interface) parallel environment, are introduced. In foundation of the choice of various functions, as well as the establishment of each kind of FDTD boundary condition, we realized L×M×N(L,M,N≥3)random point cutting of three-dimensional parallel FDTD. The procedures of microstip antenna's radiation and the radar cross section (RCS) of the angular reflector, have confirmed that the parallel algorithm is accurate and valid. This article has the reality reference significance to the parallel FDTD research work which work on the PC network or under the high performance computation connected with MPI parallel environment, and has provided the condition for the research of larger objects.Based on the method of parallel FDTD, a microstip antenna arrays which has 2*2 cells and operating on Ku-band is studied. We chose a aperture-coupled microstrip antenna with modified H-shaped coupling slot, using the structure of layers to improve bandwidth performance. The affection of several dimensions for this proposed antenna cells and its arrays had been detailed discussed and then offered the optimum result firstly. And then, we manufacture this antenna arrays. The measure result is according to the simulation through the actual survey, for its best bandwidth is from 11.3GHz to 14GHz, and the relatively bandwidth can reach to 22.8%. This antenna arrays realizes the wideband performance. At the same time, the survey pattern is also consistent with parallel FDTD method simulation result. This antenna can be used as the composer of a bigger antenna array to realize the practical application.
