Along with the R4 editions Softswitch technology 's mature and large-scale application, this thesis based on practice makes a study of the application of the Softswitch technology in mobile telecom network ,and puts forward an own views to the evolution strategy of the other net-cells of the mobile telecom network. The text places stress on study of following several aspect problems:(1) This text commences with the analytical traditional GSM core network existent blemish and face currently of the technology and market problem, Softswitch technology can resolves blemish of the core net, matchs the core network evolution direction.(2) It summarizes the characteristics of the Softswitch technology and detailedly analyzes the evolutional route of the GSM core net leading to Softswitch technology, it is from the tandem layer to the local layer.(3) In the text with currently already large-scale application of China Mobie Softswitch tandem layer for example analyzs the principle of organizing Softswitch network, connecting with other telecom nework, network safe solution, the advantage of Softswitch tandem layer network.In the text giving an example of a used Softswitch local network of a company of China Mobile ,discussed application of the Softswitch technology in GSM network.(4) The text puts own standpoint forward an evolution stratege to the 3G of HLR,GGSN,SGSN, namely HLR can carrys 3G service by software promote;setting up SGSN to be exclusively used for loading 3 G service lately;The 2G/3G uses GGSN totally.This text discusses avoiding disaster of network, and putts for- ward proposals of avoiding disaster of network.(5) At last this text gives routes of telecom network developing to IMS ,there is threee steps: first, leadding into IMS, providding value added services; second, Carrying out the IMS and CS area interworking, providing all kinds non-realtime services; At last, achieve IMS fussing, seek unity of IMS severce layer providing the severce logic control of original CS area, PS area and IMS, CS area will be replace by IMS step by step, finally, bring about genuine IMS network.
