| As one of the most successful telecommunication Value-added Services in China, SMS(Short Message Service) has become a part of people's life. But problems such as limited storage capability, few input methods, and lack of group sending function on certain phones have restricted the development of SMS.Based on the development of SMS in China and the restriction listed above, this master thesis will propose the investigation and implementation of mobile Value-added Service SMS platform. This platform encloses devices information, has no restriction on storage capability, which is very convenient for users.Firstly, the development of short message service is to be described in this master thesis. Next, SMPP (Short Message Peer to Peer) protocol, including SMS network structure, message definition and protocol flow, as well as some SMS gateway protocols is to be introduced. The emphasis of this master thesis will be the implementation of mobile Value-added Service SMS platform, therefore, some key techniques such as AT command, PDU encoding and asynchronous serial communication is to be analyzed and related realization in this platform is to be fulfilled. From the view of software modularization design and programming, the platform structure and every module are to be introduced, and the analysis and design of programming process are to be presented. In the end, this platform's application on Telecomm Internet Access Service Platform is to be introduced. |
