The Research And Implementation Of Digital Stamp Retrieval Method Based On Ontology

With the development of network technology and its greatly increased information, information retrieval has been paid more and more attention. Information retrieval system plays an important role in the communication between users and resource on the network. The traditional information retrieval methods concentrate on the way of key-word matching. Semantic understanding, the most important part of information retrieval system, has not been involved.To solve the above problem, this paper takes ontology as the foundation of semantic understanding. By studying ontology and domain ontology modeling, we provide an approach to the constructing and reasoning of ontology on stamp domain, and apply it in the digital stamp museum project. We improve the precision of stamp retrieval and enhance the query satisfaction of the users.The research of this paper could be helpful to promote the development of digital stamp museum and semantic information search.
