Next Generation Network (NGN for short) is a service-driven network. Business and the market determine the choice of new technologies. NGN Service Platform has an open architecture, with which services can be deployed in the application server out of the telecommunication network domain. The JAIN SLEE-based middleware platform meets the openness requirement of NGN services and provides standard APIs for service developers. Video Conference is a typical NGN service. This dissertation implements the service logic of video conference to verify the JAIN SLEE-based service platform. Main content includes:(1) . The architecture of NGN servicesFirst the dissertation analyzes the service features of NGN and the rapid development of value-added services market, and then concludes that NGN is a service-driven network, and the service platform must have the feature of openness. Open service platform facilitates the loading of different services, shielding the lower layers of the heterogeneous network environment.(2) . SIPThe dissertation introduces basic concepts of SIP, the network structure, as well as a SIP API convenient for programming, then studies the conduction mechanism of the messages from the SIP component to event of JAIN SLEE. (3) . The service platform based on JAIN SLEEThe architecture of the JAIN SLEE is studied, focuses on its framework and the focus and the various abstract concepts. Then the dissertation designs and implements the Service Logic Execution Environment and the function of management and deployment.(4) . The Media Server, OCMPThe dissertation describes the structure and composition of OCMP and its VoiceXML service environment, and analyses the media capability of video conference based on OCMP.(5) . The design of Service LogicFirst designs SIP-based video conferencing system architecture with the description of its implementation principle, and then based on the architecture of the video conference system and the framework of JAIN SLEE, this dissertation designs the SBB, Event, Profile and other components, and also deploys the service on the JAIN SLEE middleware platform.
