As the fast increasing number of China's mobile users, SMS (Short-Message-Service) becomes an important way to communicate with each other. Meanwhile, SMS is also welcomed by many enterprises for fast, timeless, low cost advantages. Now, an enterprise applies the SMS Platform in two aspects: one is to interact with its customers or show its new products to customers; another is to communicate with its employees, sends message to employees, such as that of happy birthday. I-was SMS Platform of Epro Computer Systems (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has been the famous one by its friendly interface and personalsized services, also been used in many enterprises, such as Police units, electric enterprises, banks. However, as the needs of enterprises are changing all the time, the SMS Platform shows many shortcomings such as hard maintenance, hard expandability, when the platform is being updated and hard reuse.This paper analyses the reason at the technical angle, put forward a solution of SMS Platform based on J2EE. The SMS Platform is developed by MVC model, the Web layer is implemented by Struts framework, the Business layer is implemented by Spring framework, the persistence layer is implemented by Hibernate framework. The combined development of three frameworks improves the maintenance, expandability, reusable features. I-was SMS Platform has perfect features, all advanced features are based on the basic features. So this paper takes the I-was SMS Platform in the electrical enterprises for example, analyses and implements the core features of I-was SMS Platform. The core features includes personal information management module, personal password management module, basic special number management module, user management module, authorization management module, SendBox management module, RecBox management module, address management module.This paper describes the following parts:1. Analyse the core modules of SMS Platform and illuminate the function of every module2. Design the core modules of SMS Platform, create the model of SMS Platform by UML, analyse the interaction of every module, list the input data and output data table of every module, display the actual function interface by real web pages, also design the database and draw the E-R diagram by data sheet.3. At the realization part of module, take the function of sending SMS as an example to illuminate how to implement the SMS Platform by Struts, Spring and Hibernate.
