Journalism Ideological Trend Of Objectivity

The western newspapers have been established in 17th century. The western press developed quickly through the serious competition in capitalist market economy. Researchers and reporters pay more and more attention to the problem of journalistic objectivity. At the same time, it has become an important topic in the field of journalism and communication. And then, journalism ideological trend of objectivity has been formed as a vital journalism ideological trend.The purpose of this thesis is to introduce western journalism ideological trend of objectivity systematically; try to take up the reasonable elements of western objectivity concepts to conform and rebuild the journalistic objectivity concepts of Chinese press circles to serve our socialism journalism practice.In this article, one problem will be discussed: the journalism ideological trend of objectivity. Concretely, there are four parts in the article. Part one introduces the background of journalism ideological trend of objectivity, including thought background and society background. It's the basis of the whole thesis. Part two analyzes the course of history and the main contents of journalism ideological trend of objectivity. Specifically, this part expounds the forming, developing, doubting and the expanding of this trend; meanwhile, explains the main contents of each developing stage. This is the emphasis of the whole article. Part three introduces the influences of journalism ideological trend of objectivity on our country. The last part evaluates and analyzes the journalism ideological trend of objectivity by three levels: its positiveness, limitations, and the guide to the news practice of socialism by Marxism.
