In recent years, China has been already developing wood-based panel industry, and established soundly a wood-based panel industrial system to save resources. And wood-based panel press is the capital equipment of the wood-based panel; its performance will directly affect the quality of wood-based panel production. This paper regards the deformation detection of the pressing panel as engineering background, designs a test system and studies it on the spot. During the process of suppressing small size and thin panel, we carry on research and analysis to the deformation of the hot pressing panel. We design a new displacement sensor which is used to test the deformation.The paper first utilizes electric measurement technique of strain gauge to test the deformation of the pressing panel, and has obtained the panel strain under the complicated stress. We use the equivalent model of cantilever beam to realize the conversion from strain to displacement. We utilize MATLAB 6.1 polynomial function to draw out the deformation rule under the complicated stress. Research shows that under the large load, the deformation among the pressing panel takes the wave form, and in different directions, the wave undulates inconsistently. In the area that puts the panel, deformation is relatively small but obvious. Corresponding to the position in the cylinder, it appears big elastic deformation. In addition, the deformation is small. In the same direction, we test the strain under different pressure. Then, we have received the law between cylinder pressure and displacement of pressing panel. The result shows that the relationship between stress and displacement is non-linear. We evaluate deformation characteristics of the press panel under high press. On this basis, we have put forward the new method used to control the cylinder pressure and recommended it to the woodworking machinery Co., Ltd...The author designs a new displacement sensor based above-mentioned research. Calibration results show that the device is small, its performance is strong, and the cost performance ratio is high. We have gotten hold of the characteristic equation for the displacement sensor by running multiple regression analysis functions. It can realize measuring accurately and rapidly. The author has explored the best project which is used to test elastic deformation of the pressing panel under the high temperature and pressure.
