Research On Software Technology Of Internet Dishwasher

With the coming of network, information and intelligent era, to enable embedded system be connected with network has already become inevitable trend. The author do a deeply research about software system design of internet dishwasher which based on the Corp. Meidi home dishwasher WQP12-9319 redesign project. The internet dishwasher is based on the S3C44B0 ARM CPU. According to low cost and resources usage principle, based on Bootloader+uClinux+GUI+Telnet Server+Web Server, A new software system of internet dishwasher is developed in this paper.This paper introduces the implement of the whole software system. It firstly discusses the requirement analysis, feasibility analysis and general design on the view of the software engineering. And then discusses the implement of the building environment. It also expatiates the porting process of U-Boot, uClinux, Microwindows and Boa, and customization of Ethernet card driver and dishwasher controller driver. It describes implement of a JFFS2 type root file system based on the Busybox which including the telnet server named telnetd. Lastly, the paper discusses implement of internet dishwasher application system.When internet dishwasher is tested in a real situation, the author telnets to the internet dishwasher by SecureCRT on the Windows XP and successfully performs the controlling operations. The same operations are successfully done by the browser on PC. The author also tests the controlling operations by fieldwork. Results of three testing experiments prove us that internet dishwasher developed in this paper works well in the real situation. It has achieved the goal of home dishwasher redesign.Realization of software system for the internet dishwasher based on mature and free-opened source code shows us a new way to achieve information appliance. It also provides a efficient technical model for other remote monitor and control systems, and embedded devices communication with network.
