Globalization of the Internet has accelerated the exchange of electronic infor- mation on both the personal and business levels.The development of IT industry makes the information security more and more important in E-business and E-communication field. Digital signature provides the integrality, anonym, identity, authentication and non-repudiation for the digital data to keep information security.Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) was found by Neal Koblitz and Victor Miller respectively. Because of higher security, higher efficient and lower cost, it becomes more and more widely used in the mainstream security system and accepted by more and more international public key standards.ECDSA is the form of DSA on elliptic curve. It is one of the most important algorithms in digital signature. It is higher security, less calculation amount, fast, lower space and band required, flexible.This paper focus on the ECDSA and its implementation in VC++2005, introduces digital signature and the mathematic theory of ECDSA. The author gives a modified algorithm on a+b mod p in finited field Fp, also gives a new algorithm for modulus on Elliptic Curve Digital Signature System. This paper and project provides the possibility of business implementation for ECDSA.This paper introduces the software design of ECDSA on VC, which is faster than the current software version of ECDSA in China and abroad,.
