Research On Modeling For Workflow Based On UML Activity Graph

Workflow is a series of business activity or mission which linked up mutually, executed automatically.The workflow model is the exact description of business process in real world; therefore, the workflow is an important step in the workflow technology application.UML is a universal and visual modeling language, and it is well defining, easily expressing, having powerful function and general applying, moreover it is accepted by the industry field. Among UML graph, the activity graph is used to model enterprise business or describe a workflow.The thesis studied the workflow technology, analysed the defect of the existing workflow modeling method at present , and a workflow modeling method based on UML activity graph is presented in the thesis,and the UML activity graph element is expanded, richer semanteme was given in this thesis,improved the model method based on UML activity graph,it makes the UML activity graph to be fit to workflow process modeling; A simplifying check method of UML activity graph that refered to the Petri net simplifies and verification principle,a new verification method is added to UML activity graph, a try is made for model verification in this thesis.Finally,the method is applied to a real project,the feasibility and effectivity of the method is verified via the project,and the basical demand of workflow modeling can be satisfied by the method.
