| With the development of isomerization, distribution and complexity of computer network, new management methods are needed in network management field. The traditional centralized network management system and technology can not meet the needs of massive network applications. As one of new network computing models, Mobile Agent technology has dynamic adaptability, isomerization, fault-tolerance comparing with traditional client / server model. It can decrease flow quantity, reduce network delay, and encapsule diversity of different protocols.The purpose of this paper is to research network management based on Mobile Agent technology. The paper mainly focuses on three core fields of network management based on Mobile Agent: communication mechanism, system architecture and security mechanism.Firstly, the concept of Lamport logic clock of distributed system Imported into Mobile Agent communication field by analyzing the current different theories on Mobile Agent communication mechanism, a new message-ordering mechanism aiming at communication reliability is proposed.Secondly, the structure of Mobile Agent and the environment of Mobile Agent system (MAS) are designed, which are bases of our new network management; furthermore, a model of network management system based on Mobile Agent is provided, this model can configure, manage network devices and resources automatically, quickly and smartly.In the end of this paper, threaten of system security which will be met by MA and MAS in process of network management are analyzed, as a result of analysis, a set of security strategies is proposed in order to protect both host and Mobile Agent, which provides MAS a set of security facilities in storage protection, communication encryption, Authentication, Access control.The work of this paper is a positive research of Mobile Agent technology, it helps both to the communication mechanism of Mobile Agent and the research of network management application based on Mobile Agent. |
