With the development of economic and the enhancement of life quality, traveling experience management which takes travelers as its center is becoming more important. Though some problems in tourism have been solved by using the communication technology, some others are still not solved, such as communication between travelers and guides, between travelers and scenic spots and so on. Applying the wireless communication techniques into tourism is one way of that overcomes those problems. Recent years, self-help guide and tourism management have been proposed and have been researched widely.Aiming at solving traveling experience management, this thesis designs two systems by using wireless communication technology: the Self-help Guide and the Electronic Guider Assistant.The Self-help Guide can help the traveler to catch the scenic spot information in heavy noise environment and to select time and scenic spot route freely (not limited by guide).The system is made up of the Guide and the Beacon. The Beacon is put on the scenic spot where it needs to be explained or illustrated by guider, and it transmits the number of the scenic spot continually. The Guide is carried by travelers, and there is phonic information of scenic spot in the Guide, which is stored in advance. When travelers who take Guide in the area covered by Beacon, the Guide will receive the number of the Beacon and pass on the number of the scenic spot to MP3 player which is in Guide, then MP3 plays the scenic spot information automatically.The Electronic Guider Assistant can solve the problems of tourist safe management. The system is made up of the host machine and the extension machine. The host machine is carried by guider and the extension machine is carried by travelers. The host machine can send orders to travelers, such as to check travelers automaticlly or to warn travelers to take bus. According to the receiving information feeded back by the extension machine, guider can monitor the status information of the travelers (whether travelers are dropped or not) in real time, and it can be displayed in PDA carried by guide.In this thesis, we designed and realized two systems: the Self-help Guide and the Electronic Guider Assistant based on the nRF9E5.(1) The design of the Self-help Guide. In this thesis, firstly, we design the circuit of the wireless communication part based on the nRF9E5 to realize wireless communication between the Guide and the Beacon. Secondly, we design the controlling circuit of MP3 player. The MP3 player can refresh according to the number of the Beacon which is received in real time.Thirdly, we realize that the travelers can selected the work mode of the Guider and MP3 player controlling.There are two work modes in the Guider. One is the guider mode in which the Guider can play the scenic spot information automatically, and the other is the MP3 mode in which travelers can control the phonic player manually.(2) The design of the Electronic Guider Assistant. We design the circuit of the wireless communication part based on the nRF9E5 to realize wireless communication between the guide and travelers. Then we realize communication between the host machine and the PDA by bluetooth. Based on the Windows CE operating system, we realize the management of the host machine to the extension machine.At the end of this thesis, we analyze the performance of the two systems and give the practical data of power consumption and the communication distance. The practical data show that the above two systems have good reliabilities, low power consumption, and all parameters can satisfy the requirement of the system design.
