21st century is the century of acting personalization and initiating creation, information service show the superiority with the developing of internet and economy, internet information service to the specialization and personalization is inevitable. According to the《China Internet Network Information Development Condition Statistic Report》in January,2007 of China Internet Network Information Center(CNNIC),the population that surfing on internet in China reach to 137,000,000. 53.1% of them surfing on internet to get information, and their angle of getting information has changed, they care about the content of the information now. Thus it can be seen, most of user surfing on internet, the purpose is hoping to fine the information they want, following the popularization of internet and the development of technology , on the one hand the way getting information from internet assumed the geometric series growth, on the other hand it makes the internet information disorder and disperser more seriously. On internet ,user hard to find out the information that they really need from the vast of the internet information.Facing the contradiction of information demands and information acquisition, Provider of the network information service realized that traditional information service model can not satisfied the user's information need. On internet, user and website that provide information is point-to-point communication, this for creating the chance that according to each user's specific demand to provide the specific service. Therefore, the service model that take the single user as center should take the place of the service model that take the group users as center, internet information service should be personalized. Personalized information service is the hot study topic in recent years, but it is not the new concept , it is proposed in the middle of 90's, only because the technology just begin to develop, it is not popularization, and the internet is also, the demand of the user can not be active. Though the traditional information service can not meet the user's demand, user already accepted this model, for this reason personalized information service doesn't be proposed, also hasn't been care about.The idea of personalized information service origins from the Marketing study, in my paper ,firstly ,I study on the relationship between information demand and information supply in the personalized information service by the Economy angle, because the service model's changing is following the technology's changing , so in the next, I introduce some main technology that support the personalized information service , and then study on the practicing of personalized information service on internet through three sides : Library Intelligence Department , ICP(Internet Content Provider),analysis comprehensively and draw conclusion:1.The form of the personalized information service is simplification2.Pay more attention to the form of the service, neglect the quality of the service or provide so-called personalized service ,but in fact do not realize it at all.3.The development of personalized information service is unbalanced in each field on internet.Focus on these insufficient, the writer put forward solution:1.Consummate the system of personalized information service2.Guide user to propose personalized information demands3.Diversify the form of personalized information service , develop the quality of the personalized information service.
