Research On Mobile Position System Based On Linux

With the development of the 3rd Generation communication technology, especially the cellular communication, the research and application about radiolocation based on network become highlighted in recent years.At the same time,due to the demand of reducing the cost of smart phone,embedded Linux becomes a focus under the complex wireless environment. In this thesis,we analysed the theory and methods in this field in details. We introduced the design of the digital map based on MiniGUI.And a position scheme was also realized in our Mobile Position System based on Embedded Linux.The main contributions of this thesis are the followings:Firstly,we introduced the new technology of the 3rd Generation communication,and then analysed position location technology and algorithms of reducing error and the methods in the different protocols of the 3rd Generation communication technology in details.Secondly,combined with the applications of the mobile phone positioning system,we adopted the famous scheme of gpsOne, selecting a CDMA module with the capability of radiolocation,correspondingly.We also built a mobile position system with the positioning and monitoring capacity,and proposed the desing of Linux serial communication.Thirdly,we introduced the design of digital map based on MiniGUI,and then analysed the relationship between geographic coordinate,bitmap coordinate and screen coordinate and realized the transformation among them.Then we developed the mobile terminal interface based on MiniGUI,realizing the display on LCD of digital map and accessing terminal position information and path planning.
