Research And Application Of Mobile Digital TV Based On Embedded Linux

In recent years,as the rapid development of embedded system,people have higher demand to getting information.Traditional television system face opportunities and challenges,and TV is developing to the direction of digital and mobile.People are not satisfied with that watching TV in fixed place.Under such circumstances,mobile digital TV comes into being.Mobile digital TV is mobile to receive television signals by terrestrial wireless transmission,is a new form of media, which have advantage of radio,television,newspapers and networks,and is known as the "fifth media".In this paper research is embedded Linux-based mobile digital TV systems.System options based on ARM for embedded S3C2410X,a DSP coprocessor for the CMMB module responsible for the TV signal reception,the choice of OS is Linux.First,introduce embedded systems,and then expound embedded systems from hardware and software.On a PC development environment from the installation,to the development of the Linux kernel board transplants,root files system of production,to Tinyx of transplantation.Finally expounded the concrete realization of system software.System as a user's keystrokes standard input,LCD display.As mobile digital TV needs a friendly GUI,system uses GTK+program,CMMB module responsible for receiving television signals.CMMB application procedures and the use of socket communication between modules, finally,CMMB module will receive information through the mplayer audio and video decoders,the display in the user interface.This paper has successfully completed the framework design and code write of application software of mobile digital TV,the system is now stable operation,and user operation is very convenient.Not only to meet the people moving in the demand for watching TV,with small hardware devices,easy to carry,low power consumption,easy to operate,software stability,and other advantages.
