Grid Geo-spatial data which describes people existent earth is the important information, also is the need base of national basal establishment and geo-science study. Digital raster map is a central part of Grid Geo-spatial data. Because of good cope and spread characteristic, It is urgent to take credible technology to protect the security of digital raster map In consideration of highly developed Computer technology and network technology nowadays. As a new technology for protecting digital products, Digital watermarking technology is a new research field in international academe these years, this technology has tremendous potential in copyright protecting and tracing etc. So digital watermarking technology in digital raster map has brought people's altitudinal recognition.Based on the theory of wavelet transformation(DWT) and the characteristic of grid raster map for digital watermarking, the paper deeply researches the digital watermarking technology based on DWT for digital raster map. The main works and creations are as the following:1,General introduce the principle of digital watermarking technology, the background and current research of digital watermarking for grid geo-spatial data are analyzed, the characteristic of digital raster map digital watermarking technology are discussed, which is the theory base for the study of digital raster map watermarking.2,A digital watermarking algorithm for digital raster map based on DWT is designed. the advantages of DWT in digital watermarking for digital raster map are analyzed, After discussing digital watermarking algorithm embedding and extracting, the imperceptibility, and robustness of the algorithm are confirmed by experiment.3,A compound watermarking algorithm for digital raster map is proposed based on DWT. By analyzing the features of digital raster map's data, the robust watermark and the fragile watermark are embeded into different frequency blocks of the digital raster map to achieve the aim of copyright protection and content authentication.4,A watermarking algorithm for the digital raster map based on integer wavelet transformation is proposed. The algorithm fit for mass data of digital raster map, the availability is confirmed by experiment.5,An adaptive visible watermark algorithm for the digital raster map based on wavelet transformation is designed, The visible watermark image's embedded Position was determined by data features of digital raster map and the characteristics of human visual systems. the visible watermark image is pretreated to adapt to desire of visible watermark technique.6,A visible watermark embedding model which taking the consumer content into account is proposed. The visible watermark technology is more practical under this mode. 7,Based on research in this paper, the digital watermarking experiment system for digital raster map has been designed, the main functions are brought forward.
