In recent years, the technology of SAR has made a great progress, many countries emphasize on the research of the combination of SAR (synthetic aperture radar) and GMTI (ground moving target indication). The GMTI mode of SAR combines the SAR imaging and the GMTI tracking. In this mode, the SAR can image the ground object, and at the same time it can also track the ground moving target.In radar system, Data Processing subsystem is one of the kernel parts, the capability of the indication and tracking of the targets of one radar mostly depends on the processing ability of the Data Processing subsystem. Through the thorough study of SAR/GMTI real-time mode, using the Stage Scenario to design and implement the simulation scenario of the Airborne SAR/GMTI, further more, based on the data produced by the simulation scenario, by the lucubrating about the processing method of Airborne SAR/GMTI, designing a Data Processing subsystem of Airborne SAR/GMTI on the VxWorks and it completed the work of data processing.On the foundation of the work parameters and data collection demand, we simulate the work of Airborne SAR/GMTI. As the result, the simulation produced a great number of semi-real-time data. In the implementing of Data Processing subsystem, these data make the debugging more convenient.The Data Processing subsystem includes clotting subsystem and tracking subsystem, they complete the tracking of the ground moving target. The design of Data Processing subsystem of SAR/GMTI is feasible according to the primary debugging result.
