An overview of the development process of inner and overseas digital library research, digital library network platform construction, and digital library resources have become mature, user services research comes into new research orientation. Library is transferring from the traditional "collection center" work model to a "user-centered" service model. "Humanization services" concept is growing concern. The OAI and mobile Agent based digital library information services have emerged and become the current hot research. The main parts of thesis are included in the following Firstly, Deep research into the key technology employed in the digital library active service system. Based on the analysis of existential model's shortcoming, OAI and mobile Agent-based active information service model is introduced, which realizes users'initialized information service. Furthermore, any function of Agent blocks in the model is expounded in detail.Secondly, Based on the deep research of the active information service model, how users acquire users'information in time is put forward. To the shortcoming of current information filtering arithmetic, Agent-based arithmetic is mentioned and explained specifically, this combination realizes users'initialized information service. Finally, the mobile Agent's collection ways of metadata from the providers under OAI protocol are introduced.Lastly, Realization possibilities of prototype of OAI and mobile Agent based digital library active information service system, which indicate the key technology employed in the realization for the specific development of active information service system under Aglet platform.
