Research On Learning Resource Management In E-learning

With the development of World Wide Web (WWW) technology, Internet has become one of the most important information and knowledge sources. E-learning has achieved great success both in research and applications in recent years, and provided users with unprecedented abundance of learning materials and great flexible learning ways. E-learning has realized that people can learn knowledge through internet in different time, different places.But most of the E-learning systems manage knowledge information, relations of knowledge information separately and never thought about managing them integrally. All these can affect the degree of the personalization and effects, because most systems apparently only adopt text mining or web mining and they never think about to use the information in E-learning system properly. In this paper, in order to solve the problem proposed above, we manage the relations of knowledge and knowledge content altogether, and use the concept of ontology. Ontology makes knowledge and relations of them not separately. Then we can realize personalization by using the net frame of the knowledge. The main researches in this paper are focused as follows:1,Some relevant concepts and applications of the ontology have been researched, some personalization service technology and personalization learning standards in E-learning has been studied.2,Using the concept of learning object to manage course information, learning object type and learning object and using concepts of knowledge units and knowledge points to implement the management of the course information.3,Three kinds of ontology have been constructed: Course ontology, course content ontology and learning object ontology. Knowledge units and knowledge points are bringed in course content ontology and described in detail, and then construct a learning resource ontology knowledge base.4,Collecting learning paths of different learners in visiting E-learning system and converting them into knowledge unit sets and knowledge point sets, then construct different personalization modeling and provide tag and content service. 5,By using the idea of learning resourse ontology knowledge base of this paper proposed, we adopt JSP,SQL2000 exploit a personalization learning environment based on ontology knowledge base.The latter research is to improve the management to the learning resourse ontology knowledge base, enhance the using effects of learning resourse, then we can realize the purpose of improving the degrees of the tag and personalization service in E-learning process and provide more accurate personalization information to learniers in using the E-learning system.
