In the production, supply and marketing system of electricity power, electricity supply and marketing are to be accomplished by electric supply companies. Qingdao Power Supply Company (QPSC for short) is one of the biggest power supply enterprise in Shandong Electric Power Corporation, which assumes electricity supply task of seven districts and five counties of Qingdao. Traditionally, QPSC mainly rely on itself charging at its serving hall, or pass receivables to the bank through floppy diskes. Along with the rapid increase of the number of customers, traditional methods could not satisfy 625,000 urban customers' payment needs, it is urgent to design and develop a stable and efficient, Bank-Electric Interconnection System(BEIS for short). In this paper, based on the project of BEIS system of QPSC, a new approach of building BEIS using middleware is proposed. In chapter one, this paper describes the requirements of the system using USE CASE model, followed by a chapter to solve key architecture problems of the system. In Chapter 4 , using UML class diagrams and sequence diagrams this paper describes detailed design of the system. The chapter of system implementation and testing present overall implementation and some key detailed implementations, it also introduces testing method applied in the project. The last chapter summarizes all of the paper, and prospects for further works. Usage of middleware technology and ACE (Adaptive Communication Environment) is the main feature of this paper. Compared with other traditional ways, middleware-based solution are better at cross-platform, performance, scalability and higher stability. Besides, this paper also presents approach of combined usage of private networks, firewall, front-end system, audit log and data encryption to satisfy high safety requirements of BEIS system.Although Bank-Electric Interconnection System have had some applications. New approach proposed in this paper have obvious advantage in system performance, reliability, scalability, which successfully fits in large power companies' needs. It is believed that this approach will have very good promotion values.
