The New Curriculum Reform has put forward three-level curriculum system, including national, local and school curriculums, which calls schools to develop the school-based curriculum. The School-based Curriculum, School Curriculum, requires schools makes full use of local communities and their curriculum resources to develop diversiform curriculums which are easy for students to choose, by evaluating the needs of their students scientifically. It is an important complementarity of national and local curriculums.However, lots of schools are facing a set of inter-related issues, including lack of resources and time, incomplete evaluation system, poor coordination, inactive student participation, no- long-enduring efforts, and so on. In view of the above problems, the author explores school-based curriculums with Moodle network platform to solve these problems.Moodle is one of open-source software curriculum management system, which is based on the social constructivism learning theory. Its main features are: its briefness, high compatibility, low technical threshold; its dynamic modular design of free combination in its online teaching module; its support of multiple teaching modes, which can help both teachers and students to communicate in a positive online environment.This paper discusses the deployment and management of school-based curriculum by using Moodle curriculum platform, based on the practice of "psychological counseling for senior high school students." The main contents of the research are: analyzing teaching design and curriculum design process by using Moodle; exploring the organization and management of school-based curriculum resources in Moodle, implementation process and curriculum assessment etc; Summarizing the result and its existing problems of the research.This research not only offers a new idea for school-based curriculums, but offers a new teaching model for other disciplines. In the course of learning, students can share resources, build an information platform for collaborative learning together, cultivate their cooperation consciousness, so as to promote the comprehensive and harmonious development of students.
