With the development of teacher specialition, many organizations in world have published standards of instructional design competencies which are the core one that embody the teachers' specialition. The issue that how to train and develop teachers' ID competencies has drawn attention of teachers and experts.In our country, the training of the ID competencies of pre-service teacher is charged with the teachers of normal university. Investigations show, the most serious problem now we are facing is that knowledge obtained from class can't be applied in practice context. Practice proves, the real learning context, the fully communication and cooperation, the effective learning resource and flexible learning mode can help learners not only combine theory with practice, but also improve the high-order ability of problem-analysis and reflection. This paper focuses on "how to provide on-line case-based learning support for learners to train their ID competencies", and mainly analyzes and discusses "what the mode of on-line case-based learning activity is" and " how to provide effective support for on-line case-based learning".Firstly, this paper analyzes and presents the meaning, the training objects and contents of ID competencies, investigates the training actuality of pre-service teacher's ID competencies, discusses the main problems in the teaching of ID curriculum and demonstrates the feasibility of applying on-line case-based learning in training the teacher's ID competencies.Secondly, after analyzing the characteristic and the conditions of effective on-line case-based learning, with the characteristic and the laws of training the teacher's ID competencies, a proposed learning mode, which is based on the learning theory of Constructivism and the situated cognition, under the influence of cases and ID competencies, provides the reference for the design of on-line case-based learning support with students at the center of their own learning.Thirdly, with the cased-based learning unit as a focal point, after analyzing the case-centered learning environment and the learner-centered learning process, this paper provide some ideas, resources, tools and strategies for on-line case-based learning support in taking preparation, activity, resources, strategy and evaluation into account.Finally, with the informationalized ID as a example, this paper designs an on-line case-based learning support unit to provide some practical guidance and inspiration for the training of pre-service teacher's ID competencies...
