Abstract/Summary:
China is a major coal-producing country. In latest years, the colliery safety accidents occur frequently, which causes heavy casualties and huge economic losses, and the situation is still grim. It is tightly related to network of information technology in colliery safety. Nowadays, colliery safety information system is based on industry bus, and composed of communication network. With the development of colliery exploitation, the original wired networks can not flexibly adjust. Therefore, establishing a flexible, extansive, reliable and secure wireless network is imperative.With the development of information technology, there have emerged a number of wireless network technologies. ZigBee is an up-to-date communication technology, with the light protocol, low cost, easy establishing wireless networks. GPRS is one transmission technology based on GSM. It is wide coverage, fast transmission speed, high-quality communications, always online, billing according to the traffic flow, and it is an original packet switching data network, supports TCP/IP protocol, and can connect Internet directly. Bettering network, GPRS is applied to more and more domains, including colliery safety.The paper is based on the Shanghai Key Scientific and Technological Project "Research of Colliery Safety Information System" (032512075) Through requirements analysis of system, ZigBee and GPRS are introduced, and combining their advantages, I research the application of wireless network based on ZigBee and GPRS in colliery safety.ZigBee protocol is analyzed in this paper. Considering the particularity of coal mine industry, I design a suitable network topology, describe procedure of establishing network, research devices how to establish, join network, etc. Analyze major wireless network protocols and select suitable one. Expound how to set up the routing table, processing procedure of establishing and joining network.Characteristics and the basic theory of GPRS technology are described. After analyzing TCP/IP protocol. From the perspective of the protocol stack and rate matching, I discussed feasibility of ZigBee protocol data and TCP/IP protocol data in GPRS, and design ZigBee and GPRS gateway.Finally, the system hardware designs are introduced. ZigBee adopted the Freescale MC13192 DSK, GPRS uses Sony Ericsson's GR64 modem. I described how realize software, in connection with the project, set up a platform for system integration.
