The Multimedia Design Of Mobile Phone Based On Calypso Platform

The mobile phone now must be a synthetic platform which integrated sound, image and connection, because the multimedia function is a fundamental requirement for consumer. The develop platform of mobile telephone — Calypso already have the most fundamental functions, such as call and message. In this project, the multimedia function of mobile phone has been developed basis in this platform.The C626 is a mobile multimedia co-processor made by Chipnuts Technology (Shanghai), Inc. It is good-compatibility, high-integrated, low power-consuming and easy-design, especially for mobile phone product expanding the multimedia function, such as audio, video and karaoke. In this research topic, make use of the multimedia characteristic of C626, designing mobile phone functions, such as U-disk, mp3, mp4, karaoke and digital camera. And have made experiment debugging, implementation the multimedia function of mobile phone.The mobile phone designed by this project has already realized the target anticipating on the function, and the maneuverability and reliability remain to be improved.
