Theory of Software Radio is introduced in the dissertation, followed with Physical Layer Transmitting Technology, which mainly includes Multiple Modulation and Demodulation, Channel Encoding and Decoding. Based on the project objectives, the system scheme is presented, which deals with not only constructions of both software and hardware, but also defined data-transmitting format. Playing an important role in the whole baseband processing system, key algorithms like Digital Down-frequency Converting, Multiple Demodulation, Convolutional Encoding and Viterbi Decoding, are fulfilled on DSP platform and explained explicitly in the dissertation. After Debugging on dual-DSP platform, all the modules are integrated in a main body called Intermediate Frequency Modem, to support data transmitting. In the end. the testing results are provided in the forms of tables and charts.
