Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging has the characteristic of all-weather, day/night, long distance and high resolution, and can enhance radar's information acquisition ability. With the rapid progress in radar imaging techniques, designing of real-time radar imaging processor, which the radar imaging algorithms are implemented, become an important task.Basing on the understanding of the algorithm of the radar imaging, following Radar Signal Processing Lab's previous design, we adopt a style which has the array of DSPs and big bulk FPGA to implement our design. We also refer to widely used R-D algorithm, so that it can meet the demand for real-time processing.Compared to general radar, SAR has the characteristic of high data ratio, big data amount, complex algorithm, it is always need to be executed parallel, so the communication between DSP's is important for SAR imaging. Realization of it has two ways, one is through link port, and the other is through FPGA. Analyses of these two ways are provided in detail at Chapter 4.
