With the advance of computer performance and the development of network technology, computer system has change the mode of solve the traditional problem and math computing to support the broad and effective working mode -Cooperative, that means to help a group of people to interactive and support their cooperative work. As a new research area, since it is putted forward at middle 80th, computer supported cooperative work (CSCW) has been recognized by most of people, now it is one of the most hot development research areas.Computer Supported Cooperative Desgin (CSCD) is the reification of CSCW in industry. With the globalization of economy, the scale of enterprise is larger than before. The Client/Server model doesn't fit the CSCD well. The peer-to-peer computing model solves the bottleneck and single point of failure problem of Client/Server. It has good load balance and scalability. The CSCD based on peer-to-peer has no servers, but new problems appear. It's very important to do research on these problems.What I do in the thesis is a part of the research of CSCD based on peer-to-peer. The thesis's object is to implement the secure communication platform based on peer-to-peer in CSCD. First the thesis introduces the peer-to-peer and CSCW technology. The CSCD model based on peer-to-peer is put forward. Then JXTA, the peer-to-peer develop platform, is introduced.The thesis emphasizes the security of the communication platform based on peer-to-peer. It discuesses how JXTA implements the end-to-end security in peer-to-peer network which is ad-hoc, dynamic and unsecure. The CSCD system is also a group communication system. The thesis researches the rekey algorithm on secure group communication, designs and implements the framework. The security of the CSCD is based on PKI. The thesis introduces the intrusion tolerant into CA which can improve CA's ability of anti attack and avoid the single failure.After these research and analysis on theory, we implement a secure communication platform based on peer-to-peer for the CSCD system by JXTA. The thesis introduces the modules of the platform and the API for the CSCD and how to verify the security of the paltform. Also we implement an intrusion tolerant CA which can sign the certification more securely. At last the thesis discusses the conclusion and future work.
