The requirement of the optical fiber device's performance has been increased as the high-speed development of access network.The aim of the thesis is to design and manufacture of anti-reflection coating that the reflectance must be below 0.2% at 1520~1580nm as the near-infrared range. It is very important to choosing coating materials, designing the coating and manufacture, it because the coating for the optical fibers must be very firm and has the high abrasion resistance.Firstly, this thesis explains how to choose the non-absorption coating materials and the process of designing the double-layers coating; secondly, the thesis describes the structure of the coater and the technological process.The result of measuring turned out that both ideal curve and the practical curve is very similar and got to the requires of technology.
