With the popularization of web application and the continuous development of web technology, Web-based network services characterized by user experience stand for current trend of the Internet development. During several changes in the structure ofweb applications, a new interactive web application model is proposed --Ajax(Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) . Ajax-based interaction model provides a new kind web design pattern. Ajax design pattern has not only changed the traditional web application pattern, it also opens up a new piece of web development field.This article is to study Ajax-based web application development. Study how to combine Ajax model with traditional web development in enterprise-level web application and how to effectively use it in web developing process.The work includes three parts: firstly by discussing the technical composition and development of Ajax have made a deep study of Ajax's working principle. Secondly analyze the combination between Ajax and traditional web development, give the strategy about how to integrate Ajax framework with traditional web framework. The article has proposed two kinds of solutions: one is based on classical MVC design pattern; the other is based on RPC (Remote Procedure Call) accessing mode. A At the same time the article has disscuessed the affect caused by Ajax and gives some concrete solutions of basic problems about capability, security etc. The last part is the actual application of Ajax pattern. According to Aspect Oriented Programming and Object-Oriented Programming realize the composition of Ajax framework Dojo, JSON-RPC and traditional web framework Spring. Expatiate how to implement Ajax-based MVC and RPC design in Electronic Commerce and Portal site.Through the applications we have further proved: the design pattern proposed in the article reflects the characteristic of Ajax-based web applications.
