The traffic congestion is the extremely serious problem in the mobile communication network. It can seriously affect the network quality, lead the phone not to be able to access in the network. The frequent congestion can blemish the network prestige seriously, reduces trust and the loyalty of the users to the network operators. Continuously for a bit long time hence, it can make direct economic loss to the network operators because of massive customer outflow. Therefore, to solve the traffic congestions in the GSM network is the important link of network optimization and enterprise healthy development.This paper based on GSM related principle and technical standards, took the Dalian network as the example, made the research to solution for the wireless network traffic congestion during project practices. Hereinto, through adjusting the relations of the cell-select, cell-reselect and handover, using the cell load share and the parameter revises of the dual-frequency network, The traffic absorbency has been enhanced. Thus, the network actual traffic load has increased, the quite long-term, not the extremely serious traffic congestions have been solved. The half speed rate function can the better absorption traffic load without changing the network configuration. Through experiment in local network, with the same carrier frequency disposition, it not only can solve the target cell traffic congestion, but also raised the wireless channel-using rate. The using of carrier pond technology in school region, by preparing the resources according to the time, the target cell increased nearly hundred ERL traffic loads during specific time interval, reduced congestions up to ten thousand times.Through research and application of these methods, we not only has solved the wireless network congestion, raised the network resources using rate, but also increased the customer s' satisfaction and loyalty to the CMCC network and the enterprise itself. These methods have the very good model significance to optimizers engaged in the GSM network in solving wireless network congestion. At present, there is no quite comprehensive method literature to solve traffic congestion in this industry. |
